A 5 km sandy beach on the tombolo west of the Giens peninsula near Hyères, usually counted among the best wind spots in France. It works on winds from east through south to north-west, with consistent conditions from May to October, water 0.5–1.5 m deep near the shore and chop rather than waves. Easy for beginners and busy in summer; the Mistral days are the ones the experienced riders come for.
