Punta Chame

A peninsula on Panama's Pacific coast in the same trade wind belt as Venezuela and the ABC islands, with steady 15–25 knots almost daily from late December to early May, 28 °C water and 31 °C air. The main spot has a large lagoon at low tide that is perfect for beginners and improvers, while at high tide the water reaches the kite camp and advanced riders launch straight in for prime foiling and wing foiling over sandbanks and open space; ten minutes away on the other side of the peninsula the Chame Banks get groomed offshore surf. Still under the radar compared with Brazil, with evening sessions in front of the mountains as the speciality.
