Lake Silvaplana

At 1,800 m in the Engadin valley, the Maloja wind builds almost every summer afternoon and gives clear, flat, cold water in front of glaciated peaks. It has hosted world-tour wing and kite events and has a strong local scene. Best for confident intermediate and advanced riders: the water is cold, the wind can be strong and the season is short.
