A huge turquoise lagoon under the Le Morne mountain, with steady south-east trade winds in the southern winter, and world-class reef breaks (One Eye, Manawa) on the outside. Flat, waist-deep water inside makes it a great place to learn; the reef passes and waves are for experienced riders only. Strong current at the passes and coral underfoot are the hazards.
