Sant'Antioco – Sa Barra

A sheltered lagoon around Sant'Antioco in the south-west of Sardinia, with sandy, shallow, controllable flat water and large standing areas. Mistral and Scirocco drive the season from May to October, with 12–25 knots on good days and water that stays warm into autumn. Ideal for learning, first long flights, gybes and manoeuvre practice, and for cruising once the water gets deeper; nothing for wave riders.
