Urla – Gülbahçe

A kite beach near Urla on the Çeşme peninsula that has taken up wing foiling, with side-shore wind from the left and a thermal Meltemi that starts early and blows until mid-afternoon from June to September. The water in front of the station is very shallow and busy with kites, so wingers launch upwind by the fishing harbour, which shelters the entry; outside it, chop and waves of 0.5–1 m build with the wind. Best for riders who can already launch and hold their ground; beginners stay inside the harbour area or go out with the school. A simple, inexpensive spot without resort infrastructure.
