Smooth, flat water behind the sandbar at Augusta in the Margaret River region, three hours south of Perth, where the wind blows towards the waves and reefs from dawn to dusk. Several beach areas thin out the crowds, and the surrounding Busselton, Dunsborough and Yallingup coast adds more spots, most of them working only in the summer months. Few tourists, ideal wind and easy water for all levels.
