Gökçeada – Eşelek

Turkey's largest island, in the north Aegean near the Dardanelles, whose ancient name is said to mean windy island. Next to the village of Eşelek there are two bays: a wave spot with 1–1.5 m chop on the left and a flat-water bay for lessons, with a strong offshore wind, on the right. Any northerly works; there is a school, rental and camping on the soft-sand beach.
