Keho Lake

A prairie reservoir north of Lethbridge, far from any ocean yet one of Canada's windiest spots, where westerly flows from the Rockies spread out over the plains later in the day. South-westerlies and westerlies suit the East Kite Beach, with flat water to small waves; in northerlies the boat launch has semi-hollow waves wrapping around the rock jetty. Pack out your rubbish and keep vehicles off the sand and crops.
