A tiny Wayuu fishing village on the desert coast of the Guajira peninsula, near the northern tip of South America. A 4 km horseshoe beach faces warm, perfectly flat water, and the trade wind blows 25–35 knots most of the year; only May and June are lighter and less predictable. The wind is largely offshore, so it suits confident riders; you sleep in hammocks in local rancherías.
