Miles of natural sandy shore on the Bruce Peninsula, with chop and waves from Lake Huron in winds from south-south-west to north-north-west of 12–30 knots, gusty in spring and autumn and thermal in summer. Avoid the main beach between 11 am and 4 pm in July and August; further north, Dorcas Bay at Singing Sands has flat, shallow water in clean summer westerlies.
