Shark Bay – Denham

Heaps of small, butter-flat lagoons and super consistent wind around Denham on the World Heritage coast 800 km north of Perth, with a good chance of having the water to yourself. The perfect destination before or after the Perth peak season, in spring and autumn; watch out for stonefish in the shallows. On windless days there are reef sharks off the cliffs south of Denham, fishing, snorkelling and the dolphins, emus and kangaroos of Monkey Mia.
