Remote fishing coast on the Arabian Sea south of Sur. During the summer monsoon a thermal driven by the cold upwelling and the hot desert blows 20–35 knots day after day. Asylah's crescent bay has 1–2 m waves peeling from the right and strong currents to the north; you share the beach with fishermen, and the nearest hospital is hours away in Sur.
