A reservoir near Worcester, about 110 km from Cape Town, where the mountains squeeze the afternoon wind into a flat-water freestyle spot. When the South-Easter is too strong on the coast, Brandvlei often has steadier, lighter wind, though it can also be gusty and reach 35–40 knots. Rig on the grass by the water.
