Marsa Alam – El Naaba

A sandy bay 30 km south of Marsa Alam airport that works twelve months a year: as reliable as the far south of Egypt in winter and as windy as Hurghada in summer, with 15–20 knots side to side-onshore from the left building through the morning. A jetty upwind and a small reef 250 m out keep the inside flat, with a turquoise standing area at the entry; beyond the reef a non-breaking swell of 1–2 m, up to 3 m in strong wind, is a gentle introduction to riding waves. Suits all levels; a quiet resort spot rather than a party town.
