Estonia's remote second-largest island. At Surfers Paradise on the Kõpu peninsula a bay between two capes can be ridden in almost any wind direction, with chop and waves, a partly hard shorebreak in south-west to north-west winds and rocks off the capes; Tõrvanina beach on the north-east coast is flatter and works in easterlies. The strongest wind, 20–35 knots, comes from mid-August to November, when the air gets cold.
