Laholm Bay – Mellbystrand

A long sandy bay in southern Halland. At the mouth of the river Lagan, in front of a nature reserve, you choose between flat water in the river and waves where the current meets the sea, and the wind is always a knot stronger there; Mellbystrand's car beach just south is shallow for about 100 m with flat to choppy water. Depressions bring the wind from autumn to spring; summer is light and busy.
