Argentina's biggest seaside resort, on the Atlantic south of Buenos Aires, with kiteable wind two or three days a week. In summer a north-easterly thermal of up to 20 knots starts around one in the afternoon; in winter fronts bring south-easterlies and southerlies of 10–35 knots. Small to medium waves and some current; beaches such as Waikiki are busy from December to February.
