Istria – Medulin & Kamenjak

The southern tip of the Istrian peninsula. Medulin's shallow bay gives flat to choppy water, and the Kamenjak nature park at Premantura has launches on stone and grass on either side of a small peninsula, with sea urchins underfoot. The Bora from the north-east and the Jugo from the south-east are the winds to ride and can be very strong in autumn; there is a fee to enter the park.
