A Wadden Sea island reached by a causeway, with a beach up to 3 km wide that you can drive onto, so the car is parked right at the water. The kite area is north of the Lakolk access road; south-west and north-west winds bring waves that peel over several sandbars, a hard shorebreak and strong current. A classic North Sea wave spot that is busy but rarely crowded.
