Anse La Raie – Cap Malheureux

A huge lagoon at the northern tip of Mauritius with almost two kilometres of side-shore riding on flat water in the south-east trade wind, typically 5–6 Beaufort from June to September. Anse La Raie has a fine sandy launch next to the public beach, while Cap Malheureux adds reef waves for experienced riders. Watch the casuarina trees on land and the currents at the reef passes.
