The only spot on Kos with fine sand both on the beach and underwater, and the island's most reliable wind: from May to October a north to north-westerly of 5–6 Bft is accelerated between the offshore islands and blows onshore, often into the evening after other Kos spots have died. Wind waves stay under half a metre, the first 50–70 m are standing depth and the shore is always downwind, so drifting away is almost impossible. A family spot that suits all levels, with light morning wind for learning; not one for flat-water purists.
