A sheltered bay on the north coast of Kos with a fine sandy beach and a standing area reaching 60 m out. The Meltemi and local thermals give side-onshore north-westerlies of up to 20 knots on roughly half of the summer days, less than at Marmari or Psalidi because the surrounding hills damp the thermal boost; a small wind wave forms further out. A quiet, safe family spot for beginners and intermediates with a single centre and plenty of room; strong-wind fans should look elsewhere on the island.
