A combined wing, windsurf and kite beach on the north-west coast of Rhodes, where the Meltemi is compressed between the island and the Turkish mainland and boosted by thermals: weaker in the morning, full strength just after midday and blowing into the late evening from April to October. Side-shore wind with a small wave near the shore and swell further out; on some spring and autumn days a proper sandbank wave and a moderate shore break build. The standing area is only a few metres wide, and jetskis and a boat cover the launch. For all levels who want to stay right at the spot; kiters have their own zone 250 m downwind.
