A long sandy beach on Banderas Bay, 30 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. From January to June an onshore south-westerly sea breeze of 5–20 mph, sometimes 30, starts around midday; from July the sea is too warm for a breeze. Chop and small waves; the beach is narrow in places and lined with restaurants, so watch out for people.
