A town on Western Australia's remote south coast with big waves, strong currents and rips. Fourth Mile Beach is the most ridden spot in the usual east to south-easterly, Bandy Creek at the end of the bay gives freestylers flat water in easterlies, and Main Beach by the pier is for freeride; from Cape Le Grand there is a downwinder of up to 20 km in southerlies. Not a beginner area.
