The North Sea coast of the Kop van Noord-Holland, from Callantsoog up through Julianadorp to Huisduinen at Den Helder. Groynes every 200 m split the beach into bays with chop and real waves depending on tide and wind; at Huisduinen the water between the jetties is flatter and a ride round the Noorderhaaks sandbank is possible. From June to September kiting is limited to marked zones by the lifeguard posts.
