Oostvoorne's huge car beach faces a sheltered bay with mirror-flat, shallow water near the shore, good for learning and freestyle, and almost every wind direction works. North of it the Slufter tidal lagoon has flat, shallow water but a dangerous outgoing current and a nature reserve to avoid, and Maasvlakte 2 has medium waves and currents for experienced riders.
