Half an hour from Fortaleza airport, with a side-onshore trade wind of 15–25 knots almost every day from July to December over a long beach with chop, and the flat Cauípe lagoon just up the coast. It is the starting point of the classic downwind trips north. Suits everyone: schools on the beach, flat water in the lagoon and downwinders for the experienced.
