A two-mile sandy beach on the north Devon coast open to the Atlantic, with small waves and flat patches between them. At the northern end you can ride into the Taw–Torridge estuary for a flat-water lagoon. Kite only outside the two hours around high tide, when the beach disappears; the season runs from autumn to spring.
