Wing Kite Beginner Intermediate Advanced

A Wadden island where the wind is often 5–10 knots stronger than on the mainland. The Groene Strand near West-Terschelling has a big shallow area of flat to choppy water, rideable three hours either side of high tide, in winds from south-east round to west. The North Sea beaches at West aan Zee and Midsland aan Zee have waves, strong currents and rips and no rescue, for experienced riders; keep 200 m from the beach access points from May to September.
