A quiet village south of Pipa with a huge river-mouth lagoon of flat, standing-depth water and ocean waves just outside. The south-east trade wind builds from mid-morning and averages 12–25 knots from July to November, a little lighter in December and January. The lagoon is tidal, so mind the current where it drains into the sea.
