Sardinia – San Teodoro – La Cinta

A long, wide beach of fine sand in front of the San Teodoro lagoon in north-east Sardinia. Onshore winds from north-east to south-east, including the Scirocco, blow very steadily, with small waves along the beach, bigger ones outside and flatter water by the harbour to the south. From June to mid-September kites use the marked channel about 1.7 km to the north; the lagoon itself is off limits.
